It's Give Away Time!

In honor of my friend Leah  I will be giving away four autographed copies of her Bible Study,  From the Trash Pile to the Treasure Chest: Creating a Godly Legacy.

This excellent Bible study will help us examine our legacy and guide us in creating a godly legacy that will honor God.

All you have to do to enter for the drawing is to leave a comment.  I will choose the winners in a very scientific way; your names will be drawn out of a hat by my sweet hubby on November 15th.

What kind of legacy do you want to leave?

The legacy I wish to leave? I just want people to KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that I was IN LOVE with Jesus...

thanks for the opportunity...

LOL....not worried about winning or loosing, I intend to get a copy either way! My concern is all the lost time, and using what I have left to make up. At least maybe I can encourage others to make the most of their lives and think about what they want to leave behind. Looking forward to this study!

Hi Cindy,

The legacy I want to leave is a love for Jesus, manifested in a love for serving others. I'm not where I want to be in this regard yet, but I am still a work in progress....

Hope you are well!

Love and hugs,
Adrienne

Cindy,

Thank you so much, this would be an awesome blessing.

The legacy I would love to leave is that my grandchildren would love Jesus like I do! Perhaps even more! :-)

Lovingly,
Yolanda

I would hope that when I'm gone I would be remembered as someone who loved Jesus. I want to leave a spiritual legacy to my family more than any type of monetary legacy!

Hey precious Cindy,

What a blessing you are...generous spirit. I'm sure the book is going to be a blessing to many.

The legacy my heart desires to leave is one of two words: loving Jesus. That's it. I want my family to have been loved by me through Jesus that they are left passing HIS love to one another and down to the generations to come and to extend that legacy of Jesus love out towards ALL people.

Loving Jesus is the legacy I desire to leave...

Love you sweet friend.

Hi Cindy!

Some days I just hope I'm NOT leaving a mess. LOL! *sigh*
Honestly, I pray I will leave a legacy for my children (and grandchildren!?) of faith and love - centered in Jesus. I want them to remember me as a woman desperately in love with her God, and I pray that memory will spur them on to seeking Him with all their hearts.
Yes, LORD. Please let it be so!

I want people to know that my heart belonged to Jesus and I gave everything for Him. I too often fall short but that is my goal everyday!

Oh! Four copies! How wonderful! Thank you for doing this giveaway. Leah has such a beautiful heart for Jesus...I know that just has to shine through in her study!

I am with these other ladies. I definitely want to leave a legacy of love...the love of Jesus. And I want my girls to know what it means to have a living breathing relationship with the Lord...to know how real His love is, how very present His help is, how vital and powerful His Word is.

I want my life to be such a sweet taste of Jesus that others cannot help but hunger for Him.

Thank you, again, for this giveaway!
Blessings,
Kimberly

My legacy for the children is to show them God's love through Snuggly Creatures that I made for them.

Hey sweet Cindy!

I love the song by Nichole Nordeman called "Legacy" and I really believe it sums up what I want my legacy to be:

I want to leave a legacy
How will they remember me?
Did I choose to love?
Did I point to You enough
to make a mark on things?
I want to leave an offering.
A child of mercy and grace who
blessed your name unapologetically
And leave that kind of legacy.

Yep, that about sums it up. I hope my children see even a hint of that in my life. Oh, LORD, let it be!

Love and blessings,
Dori

Hi...I found your blog on the internet and have enjoyed reading it. I love the layout, too. I guess the legacy I'd want to leave is the same as the rest of the 'girls' here. The Lord is #1 and that I have taught my children about Jesus. I would hope that they, in turn, will teach theirs.

Would love that book!

The legacy I want to leave is one of wholeness. I want my family and friends to see in my that my contentment, security and significance comes from God alone. I want to be able to show them how they can have that too.

Hey Cindy:

What a blessing you are to do this.

I want to leave a legacy to my grandchildren. I want to be able to impart to them what it means to truly live for Jesus and ABIDE in His love and grace. I want my life to count for eternity.

So proud of Leah! Love you girls.

Can I squeeze into the hat?

I'll leave a legacy of always closing the fridge door, never littering and sometimes managing to sneeze only once in a row!

If my legacy is to have nudged any one of my eight nieces and nephews into the saving direction of Jesus, my life and all its wackiness shall not have been misspent.

My legacy is to my children that they would know the love of Jesus and how much he cares for them. To let the light shine through me so they can see His love.

Thank you for allowing me to stop by "Life is Good" because it truly is most days. I pray that the Legacy I leave is to love and to give. That I encouraged others to love and give tirelessly, to love and give often, and to love Him and give to Him as He loves and gives to me.

Cindy said...

Dear Vivian and Ivy, I wanted to e-mail you to thank you for stopping by Life is Good. I appreciate your comments on legacy and treasure each comment that is made here.

Leah's study really made me stop and deliberately think about just what kind of legacy that I want to leave.

Blessings to you both,

Cindy

The legacy I'd like to leave my loved ones would be that not only did Jesus deal with my stuff but that stuff was used for his honor..And that my legacy would be that I loved greatly and was loved greatly.
