God Is Never Late

I have waited with much anticipation for Spring to show itself at my house. While everything is blooming all over the county, for some reason Spring has been slow to come to my house.

It seems like I have been waiting on more than just Spring lately. Answers to long standing prayer requests. Unresolved health issues that won't go away. I know that I am not the only one. There are many who seem to be waiting on God. It is easy to get discouraged at times. When you are in pain and the answers don't seem to come.

This quote from Beth Moore's "Wising Up" sums it all up: "God is never late. He misses a few good opportunities to be early, but He is never late." So if anyone out there reading this needs some encouragement, please know that God is always on time. He doesn't work by our clocks or schedules. His way is perfect. Isaiah 55:8 and 9 tells us: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

And like Spring, He will show up when His time is right and in His perfect way.

Can you even imagine this world if it ran on our crazy schedules? I'm so glad that HE knows better than we do how things should be.

See you tomorrow.

Hi Cindy,

It's so funny that you mention "Wising Up" in your post! I've been watching the DVD's each morning for the past 5 days as I workout on the treadmill. Today's lesson was "Wisdom for Moms." It's such a good bible study, isn't it!

I'm so grateful for God's perfect timing and to know that He's always in control!

Thanks for blessing me with your beautiful pictures. My favorite is the bird's nest! I've never seen a real life bird's nest with tiny little speckled eggs inside. What a precious sight!

Blessings,
Sharon

Thanks for this...the reminder was needed as we're organizing our move. Things don't neccessarily happen in our time frame and I'm trying to leave that in God's hands.

Lovely spring pics too!

I have missed you my friend. Glad to see you writing again. God's timing is perfect; if His children can only wait for it. I too am struggling with so many issues right now. God is sooo GREAT! I know He answers will come. As for the pain I am praying He will take it away. Isaish does tell us God's way is not like ours; we trust in God and know His ways are perfect.
Love you my friend.
Many prayers,
Bren

Dear Cindy,

Waiting is never easy, is it? I loved what you shared from Beth Moore - "God is never late." Amen. It is hard to understand during our times and seasons of wait; but just like the pictures, the beautiful ways of the Lord will be revealed.

Blessings to you dear one.

Cindy, these are such encouraging words for those of us who wait for God. And just like, spring, even greater, God is faithful, and will in His determined time arrive and meet our need.

Thank you for sharing. Your pictures are lovely. My mom's having a hard time getting her yard together because of the rain in North Georgia, but what a blessing it is. Now, I can't wait to see Lake Lanier again.

Take care. Many blessings.

Precious Cindy - God's timing is definitely not on our clocks and schedules but His timing is indeed always perfect, right on time and never late. WOW if we could just learn to wait in the right mindset. A mind set of praise and peace with great expectation in HIM.

I'm waiting on a few things to sweetie. How we wait is just as important. Love you much.
