Letting Go

Tonight was the last night of our "Stepping Up" Bible study. I facilitated the study with a small group of ladies from our church. It was a wonderful study and I learned so much. I have always loved the Psalms and it was a blessing to be able to study a few of them in depth.

I'd like to share some of the things we learned in the last DVD session:

*We have to learn to watch the road signs and heed them.

*Beth spoke about us having to be in the Spirit to hear Him. If we are in the Spirit we can hear His warnings.

*She also spoke about us being overloaded and how we can't do 1,000 things to the glory of God. Sometimes we have to lighten our load to go on with God.

This seems to be a recurring theme from God. Several blogs and articles that I have read lately deal with the seasons in our lives, giving some things up, making sure that we are in the Spirit. So Lord, you have my attention. I'm listening. Heeding the road signs. Lightening the load. Praying to stay in the Spirit.

Life is Good,

Cindy

Sounds like a great study and I can't wait to do it after the first of the year. I, too, need to slow down and focus on those things that are really important rather than trying to do 1000 things at once.

Have a great day!!

Greetings Cindy! I took "Stepping Up" in the spring. It was a fabulous study. I just posted the blessing that I wrote at the end of the study on my blog last week.

It was great to read your highlights. I'm looking forward to studying Esther next.
